Adam Zammit

Throughout his twenty nine year career as an innovative and impassioned creative entrepreneur, Adam has lead the great challenge of bridging art, community and commerce through empathy and engagement with brands, businesses, institutions, government and industry. Adam started his diverse career as founding publisher of Music Weekly Magazine and website titles Revolver Magazine (97’-2003), Brag Magazine 2003-present and music industry trade magazine the Music Network 2007-present. As a media partnership broker, Adam has created national and international broadcast partnerships with the ABC, SBS, Channel 7, MTV, Channel V and Viacom global, Yahoo, RDIO, NOVA and Triple J.
Adam’s skills bridge artists to government and business creating opportunities and possibilities for creative endeavours on unique and at-scale platforms. His success in working with artists is founded on his experience with Artist Management company Parker and Mr. French, where Adam managed the careers of some of Australia’s most innovative and successful artists including: Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun, Cirque Du Soleil, Pnau), The Vines, Bluejuice, Jagwar Ma, and Andrew Klippel.
Adam was one of 3 executives responsible for the management of the permanent USD$300million Franco Dragone production - The House of Dancing Water. This work formed part of a 18 month consultancy as Director of Live Entertainment in the then new James Packer led $3.4 Billion Studio City Casino and Resort in Macau. This portfolio included a 5000 seat luxury arena, and a $35m multi theatre House of Magic.
In the last 4 years Adam has developed 2 different multi-day, multi-site festivals for Wollongong City Council and the Blue Mountains Council with DNSW.
He recently acted as Director of Marketing and Commercial and led the development of the Sydney World Pride Festival program, brand, and commercial model, building a $16m partnership program and designing the events ‘Bridge to Beach strategy as well as leading negotiation on multiyear media partnership with the ABC.
In the last 12 months Adam has been working with the Queensland State Government and Brisbane City Council developing and producing cultural tourism focussed, music led festivals.
In the past eighteen years Adam has also generated over $100 million dollars in new revenue for arts & entertainment industry assets. He has been in leadership on the majority of Australia’s leading music and cultural events and institutions including ARIA, APRA, Splendour in Grass, Bluesfest, Big Day Out and many more. Notably as CEO, Adam led Big Day Out, one of the worlds’ biggest touring music festivals into partnerships with the promoters of Lollapollooza and Austin City Limits whilst also creating, producing and consulting to a number of other national events including: The Australian Live Music Awards; The Bacardi Express; Tamworth Country Music Festival, to name a few.
